COVID-19 has affected everyone's way of life including ours here at Montessori Academy of the Oaks. We have developed plans to ensure social distancing while maintaining a fulfilling Montessori learning environment. Throughout the pandemic, we have remained open and have had ZERO positive cases in our school.

Here are some of the procedures we follow here at our school (but not limited to)

• Follow all CDC, federal, state, and local health department recommendations to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

• Ensure that all students and staff have their temperature checked and hands sanitized before they enter the school.

• Require masks to be worn at all times.

• Ensure all students and staff wash and sanitize their hands after changing rooms/activities and multiple times throughout the day.

• If any family members of a student or staff member show symptoms or have been in contact with someone known to be COVID-19 positive, they must quarantine for 14 days.
